I still remember the exact moment a CEO told me, "We're all really smart and we've come so far — I just don't understand why we can't get aligned enough to meet these key milestones." I realized how often I'd heard some version of that same sentence, sitting on the other side of the table as their HR leader.
years of HR executive leadership.
global manufacturing and supply chain sites supported.
global commercial organizations transformed.
I started my career as an attorney. Then, purely by chance, I met a group of Accenture management consultants who introduced me to change management — and I was hooked. Over the two decades since, inside global medical device, pharmaceutical, and healthcare organizations, I kept ending up in the same room: a leadership team that was smart, capable, and quietly out of alignment, watching a strategy that looked great on paper struggle to survive contact with the actual organization.
What I realized, engagement after engagement, was that the missing piece was never more strategy — it was someone willing to look at the whole system honestly. Leadership capability, talent readiness, performance systems, organizational structure, culture: these don't fail one at a time. They fail together, quietly, until a board meeting or a key departure forces the issue into the open. I built my career learning to see that whole picture and to help leadership teams act on it before it became a crisis.
Right now, I'm bringing that same experience to organizations on a fractional basis — working directly with leadership teams who need this level of expertise now, without the long runway of a full-time search. It's a natural extension of the work I've always done, just with more freedom to go straight to where the problem actually is.
Working with me feels less like hiring an outside consultant and more like adding an experienced executive to your leadership team — someone who's navigated this kind of challenge before and can get up to speed fast. I ask direct questions early, because I'd rather understand the real problem in week one than manage around it in month six. I show up in the room with your executive team, not just in a deck delivered after the fact — you'll hear from me plainly, in language your team actually uses. I don't disappear between meetings, and I don't hand you a lengthy report and wish you luck implementing it. And if something isn't working, I'll tell you directly and early — you deserve a partner who's honest with you, not one who waits for you to find out the hard way
You don't need to have this fully figured out before we talk — you just need to be ready for an honest conversation about what's actually going on. Let's talk about where your organization stands and what it will take to get where you're headed.
